Backstage access
Please note that access to the backstage area will be available at specific times. If a contestant or assistant is found in the backstage area outside of the allocated times, SCA Denmark reserves the right to disqualify or ban them from the competitions.

Access to the practice area will be available in the allocated timeslots. Please note that access to the backstage area can be altered. Consideration to contestants competing late or early will be giving, upon request if deemed needed. Find the practise time schedule here
Festival passes
The following tickets are available at no cost; all other tickets must be paid for:

If an assistants is booked, 1 to 2 x Full festival tickets will be given upon registration.
Please note: All contestants must sign up and obtain their wristbands at the front office upon arrival at the venue. The box office will be open all day Thursday and throughout the full festival.
Parking
Parking are available at Raffinaderivej 6-10 outside of TAP1. The parking fee are paid at the meters
Contestant food and drinks
Food will be available for purchase at the designated vendors.
All pastry, beers and wine at the DCF Bar are discounted with 20% for contestants.

Volunteers
All the volunteers join because they love to help, not only because they love coffee, so please make sure they are being treated very well and please don´t hesitate to offer them a cup of coffee!
Baristas wanting to volunteer should email Morten at Morten@scadenmark.coffee.
The tasks will vary during the days, and baristas should be willing to help where needed.

During the festival we will be posting continuously from the festival.
Please do tag us in all your content. We will prioritise contestant posts.
Sustainability
Just as the rest of society works towards a better environment, so do we.
So, this year we again have ceramic cups for the visitors which means that you don´t need to bring any paper cups for serving your coffee.
We highly encourage you to think green and welcome any idea you might have to help us improve our sustainability.
Waste management
Trash can be disposed at the dumpster by the TBA of the venue.
Wastewater can either be disposed in any drain outside TAP1.
If you wish, it´s also possible to empty and clean you bucket by contacting one of the Marketenderiet staff members, having them escort you to the cleaning station in the kitchen – you are not allowed there unaccompanied.
Water
All water will be provided via our sponsor BWT.
Find BWT by their booth and Tap Station.
Dishwasher
If you wish to wash any equipment during the festival, please ask the stagemanager to assist you getting at dedicated employee at the washing point at the TAP booth.
Milk and non-dairy
Oatmilk will be available at the front entrance to use as you wish.
Oatly are our non-diary partner and will be suppling Oat milk. You can therefore use all the Oatly you want to - of course also free of charge.
FAQ
How do I ensure my assistant can get in? You'll need to purchase a ticket for your assistant via danishcoffeeefestival.com. The ticket grands access to the backstage area at the designated hours. No more then two tickets can be bought.
How big are the tables? Espressotable – 180Lx90W cm, Brewers, Cup Tasters and Esp. serving and prep 180Lx60W cm. We are currently working on heightening the tables 10cm (20/1-26).
How is the set-up of the tables and do you have to choose how they should stand? Set up is as specified in the rules for nationals and cannot be altered.
Is it possible to move the espresso machine on the table? Yes, you decide the position
Can I move the tables at any competition? No, the tables cannot be moved at any time and should be kept the way they are set up.
Are there any specifications on which grinder I should use? No and yes. There is no mandatory grinder for Barista and Brewers Open service. There´s a Mandatory grinder for Brewers Compulsory only (Acaia Orbit).
How many can I have as helpers? Two persons is the maximum. If they are not registered beforehand, they will not be allowed backstage.
Is there anywhere I can apply for sponsorship through SCA? No. All sponsorships are to be handled by yourself. We will be happy to assist you contacting existing SCA sponsors.
How much table space do I have for my stuff backstage? Approximately half a 180Lx60W cm table for preliminary, and a full table for finals.
Can my things backstage take up more than my table? No. You are welcome to use the space below you table and any other assigned space.
Is there access to a freezer and fridge? No and Yes. A fridge can be accessed only be request at least 7 days before the championship. Access can be granted by request during the infomeeting, if there´s adequate room. There's no freezer available unfortunately.
Can I get out with my things before the festival starts? No. Exeptions can be in written in the infomaterial. If it´s not in the material, you cannot store your items at the venue prior.
What happens if we do not reach 6 participants? The Championship will not count if there aren’t 6 competing baristas.
Do I have to bring a knockbox with me? Yes. All equitment are to be brought with you be yourself.
Is it possible to borrow a grinder from sca? No. No grinders are available. This also applies to the practise time.
Which filterbasket will be used for the Barista championship? A VST 20g will be supplied.
Which espressomachine are used for the Barista championship? The current sponsored espressomachine for 2026 is Linea PB 2-group 3/01-26. 2027 is still unknown
